    Steve Haydu St Patrick's Lo Tide Run
    Come join the biggest St. Patrick's Day party in Carolina Beach. Come dressed in green as you run or walk at the beach to help people battling cancer. The mission of the Lo Tide Run (an all-volunteer board) is to provide monetary assistance to New Hanover County residents who are battling cancer and struggling with financial obligations, and to empower the community to come together to support and honor local cancer warriors through a fun and inspiring 5K and 10K.

    Wilmington Marathon
    The Full Marathon is the perfect Boston Marathon qualifying event because it’s fast, flat, and notorious for being the backdrop for setting personal bests. The course starts in Wrightsville Beach and makes a straight shot to downtown Wilmington. Runners will span 6 bridges (4 flat) and run the best Wilmington, NC has to offer. Come span the Cape Fear Coast and run from destination to destination.

    Cape Fear Craft Beer Week
    CFCBW continues a tradition of celebrating the Cape Fear’s thriving craft beer culture through a ten-day celebration that attracts beer tourism, draws awareness to our region, and serves as a showcase for the area’s breweries, bottle shops, restaurants, and craft-centric businesses. The week features events showcasing not only beer brewed in the Cape Fear Region, but invites participants to explore venues where craft beer marries comfortable environments, friendly conversation, and craft cuisine around Wilmington.

    Made in NC at Brooklyn Arts Center
    Made In NC, a gorgeous and diverse community craft show is scheduled for Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22, 2020. Admission to the show is $5 at the door and is good for both days. Includes a raffle ticket (kids 12 and under are free). Parking in the North Fourth neighborhood is free. Catch the Food Truck on Saturday, WilmyWoodie pizza truck on Sunday, Casa Blanca coffee shop, Cravings treats, BAC bar and over 50 vendors all in one place!

    St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival
    Parade starts at 11AM
    Join celebration of all things Irish with the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival in Historic Downtown. Beginning on North Second Street, the Parade will wind its way down North Front Street, past Market Street turning left on Dock Street and then left on South Second Street to the new location for the Festival Music Stage.

    Hidden Battleship Tour
    Join us for a unique, behind-the-scenes tour of unrestored areas of the Battleship. The four-hour tour consists of small groups with guides. Guests explore the bow, third deck, Engine room #1, superstructure, reefer, aft diesel, and climb inside the fire control tower to the top of the ship.

    Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival
    Get ready for a great day of beer sippin', beer and bourbon tastin', music listenin' and barbeque eatin' half-way between Historic Downtown Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach. Your admission gets you a sampling glass to enjoy a sampling of 60 beers and 40 bourbons. Some of the best barbeque vendors are also on-site to satisfy all your BBQ Cravings. There will be seminars in the tasting theater, Barbeque exhibits, and live music, a Local Beer Garden and special Cornhole Tournament.

    Rock the Beach
    Enjoy some of your favorite Rock-n-Roll tunes as the annual Rock the Beach pays tropical homage to a legend with Bluffett and the Son of a Sailor Band at the Carolina Beach Boardwalk. Sand and sunshine combine for the ultimate trip down memory lane. This date is rescheduled from the Fall. Other exciting bands are the hilarious Da Howlies and the exciting rock-a-billy Phantom Playboys.

    20th Annual CFCC Riverfront Boat Show
    Held on the banks of the Cape Fear River, the CFCC Riverfront Boat Show attracts thousands of visitors every year. This event features a wide variety of wooden boats, including kayaks and skiffs, fiberglass boats from professional boat dealers as well as boat building material suppliers from around the region. Spectators can enjoy boat building demonstrations, try their hand at a Knot-tying Challenge, and be able speak with the Boat Builders about their creations.
