The Wilmington Water Tours "River Club" is OPEN! On Friday nights we will be doing LIVE Music on the River with a subtle change....we will be staying at the dock. The bar will open at 6:30PM and music will start at 7PM (club closes at 9PM), so come out and support our local musicians...no charge! Experience a different venue to watch the amazing talent in this area. Instead of a dark bar or restaurant, enjoy a night at the dock on our boat! Stay for just a couple drinks or stay the whole evening. It's up to you! We remain dockside so you can come and go as you please. The boat is enclosed & heated for your comfort. 5th Annual Cape Fear Beer Fest

The Cape Fear Beer Festival is a true beer tasting (and wine) event featuring a wide variety of beer styles from the most creative brew masters in the world. Brooklyn Jazz Hop

Coming to the Brooklyn Arts Center on March 13, 2015 first Annual "Brooklyn Jazz Hop". Reggae, Hip Hop, Jazz under one roof for one night. Line up will include the best local artist that wilmington has to offer. Give Thanks Reggae Band, D.H.I.M Reggae Band, Temple 5 with specialguest apperance by Fuzz Jackson and Con Sci of Minds One, Darryl Murril and Jazzpel, D.J. Slim Deluxe, D.J. Rusty. Special Guest Host for this event. "Night Nurse" of Reggae Redemption and Modern Rock 98.7 Proceeds from the event will be given to the "Pretty in Pink" Foundation to fight breast cancer. This perennially popular community event features the original work of 50 local craftsmen and artisans, who once again will fill the Brooklyn Arts Center, balcony, and heated courtyard tent with their beautiful, one-of-a-kind work. Cape Fear Wildlife Expo

The Cape Fear Wildlife Expo is a family fun-filled event to be held on March 20th through March 22nd, 2015. As a family event, the expo will feature wildlife art and decoy displays; book signings by regional outdoor writers; hunting and fishing products; boats and accessories; truck and ATV displays; fly-fishing and decoy-carving demonstrations; conservation exhibits; outdoor sports guides and outfitters. The cost to attend the 2015 Cape Fear Wildlife Expo is $10.00 for Adults, $7 for seniors age 65 or older and for Military. Children ten years and under are free when accompanied by an adult. 3 Day Pass available for $20.
Wilmington Symphony Youth Orchestra & Junior Strings Matinee

Bring the kids and introduce them to the joy and excitement of an orchestra concert featuring the Wilmington Symphony Youth Orchestra, conducted by Steven Errante, along with the Wilmington Symphony Junior Strings, conducted by Jane Tierney. It's been a good few years for the relentlessly hard working six piece rock band from Durham, NC, whose sophomore album After It All will be coming out on April 7, 2015. Since the release of their debut album Carry The Fire in the summer of 2012 and 2013's follow-up EP Chasing Twisters, Delta Rae has been profiled everywhere from NPR and Time to Forbes. Live is where Delta Rae truly flourish, having spent the last year and a half playing to sold out venues from coast to coast, even sharing the stage with First Lady Michelle Obama when they performed during a Democratic rally at UNC Chapel Hill. They've played pretty much every festival under the sun, including Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits and Voodoo, and are excited to be hitting the road again this spring. NC Black Film Festival

The Black Arts Alliance (BAA) will present the North Carolina Black Film Festival (NCBFF), March 26-29, 2015 in Wilmington, NC. In its 14th year, the four day juried and invitational festival of independent motion pictures by African-American filmmakers will showcase features, shorts, animation, and documentary films. Prizes of $500 will be awarded in each category, provided there is a minimum of three entries to be screened in any given category. This year NCBFF is adding a Student Film category. There will be an evening showcasing film submissions from students from various film programs around the country Friday evening, March 27, 2014 during this year’s festival. Welcome Friends to another Rims On The River Vintage Car, Hot Rod & Motorcycle Show! This year marks the 11th annual event that takes over Downtown Wilmington, NC. As in previous years, it is sure to please both the nostalgic on-lookers and the motorheads alike. Vehicles will be on display throughout the downtown area vying for several trophies given out for different classes. Rims On The River kicks off on Friday with our "Welcome To The Rims On The River Weekend" parties. Several of our downtown venue partners will be hosting parties as participants and spectators roll into town. Be sure to check out our Bands page for updating entertainment information.
