Queen’s Coronation
Watch as the Queen is officially crowned the North Carolina Azalea Festival Queen Azalea on April 11, 2012 at 3:00PM. Meet the Queen and Celebrity Guests at this FREE event!
Circus
Enjoy costumed characters, acrobatics, clowns, and more at the Cole Bros. Circus Big Top. The nonstop action of this two hour performance will bring chills, thrills, and laughter to the entire family. This year’s performance features talented elephants, camels, clowns, canines, aerial gymnasts, and more. The Circus will be at the Azalea Festival from April 12-15, 2012.
Concerts
Celebrate the North Carolina Azalea Festival during two live concerts at the Trask Coliseum at UNCW. Kenny Loggins will perform Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 8:00PM and Scotty McCreery will perform on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 8:00PM.
Azalea Garden Tour
The Cape Fear Garden Club Azalea Garden Tour has been featured in Southern Living and is one of the longest running and most popular garden tours in the South. ‘Admire the Blooms’ at the 59th Annual Cape Fear Garden Club Azalea Garden Tours available April 13-15, 2012.
Street Fair
Enjoy this FREE event with your entire family! The North Carolina Azalea Festival Street Fair features over 200 arts and craft vendors, 40 food vendors, 4 stages, and a children’s area. Check out the Street Fair April 13-15, 2012.
Parade
Join over 500,000 people for the North Carolina Azalea Festival Parade and enjoy the floats, marching units and bands, clowns, horses, and more. The parade will be on April 14, 2012 at 9:30AM.
